One Life to Shop's Grand Opening!

I started to post links of all the things I 'like' on Facebook, and I was getting feedback that my friends 'like' the same things, and this is how this blog came about.  I wanted a place where I can talk about everything I find and liked and want to recommend it to everyone else without bombarding my Facebook friends with shopping talks, I figured the boys don't like it as much.  So...I hope everyone will enjoy my finds and my links! You only have one life to shop!

Let's start - I have been obsessing about two sales lately:


Nordstrom Designer Sale.  They have brands like Tory Burch, Jimmy Choo, YSL, Fendi, Burberry, and Lanvin at up to 40% off right now.  Great return policy if it doesn't fit...you can either mail it back or return it in store, no time limit.  Customer service is awesome, and they always match a competitor's price.

Nordstrom Designer Sale

Net-a-porter sale.  The have the most awesome stuff that are not always carried in the big department stores.  Order processing is super fast and customer service is great there.  Do check it out if you haven't.

My favorite thing at the Nordstrom sale right now is this pair of Jimmy Choo platform Sandals. I feel that words cannot describe how unique these shoes are.  I never thought red and fuschia works together, but it does here!  Wear this with any outfit to spice it up.  These shoes are HOT with the 5.5" heel.  If you are worried about walking in it, no worries, it has a 1.5" platform to help out.  If 4" heels is a challenge still, practice practice practice!  These babies are worth it!

At 40% off, it's still $1009, so I am going to wait for a super clearance...if it ever makes it.  For now, I will just drool over it.


Another pair that I think it totally cool are the Valentino Studded Leather and Lace Pumps.  It's girly X rocker.  The lace and bow is so pretty, and the studs balance out the extreme girliness.  It's perfect!  I am just dreaming about it ALL the time. Somebody, Please buy it...and then tell me all about it! I would be so happy!
